spent the past week in camp. haven stayed in for a long time, and i must say it brings mixed emotions to me. staying in is actually quite fun cos you get to talk crap with one another in the bunk, relate to the past on common experiences good or bad, play soccer, go out for supper!!, and even play psp (yes, now my camp can bring psp. so gd!) however, i did not have the luxuries of most of them, as most of the time is spent outside. spent outside feeding mosquitoes. now my limbs are full of scratching scars.
for the first day, i tot it would be a peaceful day as i had nothing much till 5pm. man i was wrong. we set off at a little past 5, travelled to numerous locations, back and forth camp, before my boss decides to come back to rest at 415am. den he said, "lets meet again at 530." AM. cool. so after 1 hr of rest we set off again! stayed around elephant hill area till abt 9, before we finally got to rest till 12. after that it was on standby again, doing all the what nots.
second night we set off once again at night, this time we hopped from areas in lim chu kang,kranji dam, etc. wonder why my boss liked to do trg visits at night. so we reached back to camp around 530, and immediately prepared for coa's arrival at 6. only when they all left did we managed to rest.
and just as i tot my bioclock was officially tilted upside down, the next few days turned into day visits instead. had a hard time trying to sleep man.
but the time spent w the platoon was gd man, like when we were packing stores this morning, the feeling was actually quite good. something you cant get from the div side. i guess we have to give and take yeah.
