shall blog a quick one for the week before i head off for cos duty tmr. the last of the week!
anw this wk 3 of my men left, so its pretty sad for me. though we barely knew them for a month, they've been pretty nice (and they have pretty cars!), though they were qt slack at times. been talking to them alot throughout the week, which made me understand deeper about the army..
realised staff yong is actually a very nice guy. just that he had to act the bad guy initially when we just arrived at 3 sig. he actually initiated the revamp of the mess, taking money outta his own pocket to buy stuff like ps2, dvd players and stuff for our benefit. whats more impt is that from my men i heard abt his time where he was part of the un peacekeeping force fighting the guerillas in east timor. although his team were tasked to fight the guerillas, they did what they felt were right by helping fellow singaporeans there who were bullied by the locals. yet they were condemned by their superiors. this remind me of a saying. Stand up for what is right, even if you are the minority. honestly speaking i was quite touched by wad he did. (and i guess thats probably the reason why despite in the force for 15 yrs, he still hentak kaki at staff. haix)
hmmm oh den this week's been a great soccer week. played soccer for the first time in camp on wed.. i must say i've improved. heh played against a good team which was qt satisfying. den today played at amk also. quite shiok. must play more to improve my game. heh.
