off on thursday.
this is probably one of the craziest thing i did for the yr. i took a day off from work just to go mambo night w pms. and i even had to give some reason in order to give my off approved. (hope no one sees this. there are sadistic pple in my company who stalk ppl's friendster and blogs.) so anw we met up at ps, took our time for some cartel half price cheese cake while waiting for the da xiao jie, and ended up seeing a massive, and i mean really massive queue outside zouk. saw diyang chian and lyanna there. so its like me korn lide yingyi chian and lyanna trying to squeeze thru the queue and diyang trying to help us cut queue. =P
albeit much difficulties, we managed to get our way through and boy, phuture is full house already when we got in. so had to go to the main arena, which i admit i dun really prefer. the music were not really my type, but its quite fun to see how the pple there dance with all the hand movement and stuff. the guys at the stage were pretty gay but they dance well. oh brenard jialing clara and one of their friends joined us as well after tt. it was pretty spacious initially. got some space to move about, but it eventually became squeezy. some indian guys came along and started pushing bernard. they got even higher when the dj started playing some indian track. haha.
got into phuture for a while. and i admit i still prefer r&b. haha. lide almost got into a fight with this guy. i really tot he should have flashed his police pass just to scare that person. anw other than that, all i rmb is phuture is super super squeezy. its hard to get in and even harder to get out.
we ended around 3 plus 4 and i realised i forgot to bring my keys. how smart. so i did another one of the craziest thing i did in the yr, which was to walk all the way from zouk back home. mind you that was at least 8km of walk i think. took around 1hr 20min. lucky my navex skills were quite up. heh.
talk of the day: a golfer had the correct stance and movement and managed to hit the ball consistently with the correct speed and technique, but the ball just would not fly far. the reason is simple. the ball is flying against the direction of the wind (think physics). sometimes we are unable to accomplish things not just because we are incapable, but that nature is often not on our side.
