went to watch fireworks with dex n yusin after dinner. today's supposed to be the last day of fireworks display so there are tons of ppl along both sides of the singapore river trying to catch a glimpse of the 13min long fireworks show.
true enough the 13 min was worth the time squeezing my trolley past cars and muddy patches to a more spacious spot where we can view the fireworks distinctly. its my first time watching it closeup (other than those smaller versions that i played w in msia), so the experience was exhilarating. watching fireworks really can brighten up a person and make them filled with happiness as they stared in awe at the sparkling fireworks that shimmered acrossed the sky like meteor rain (haha feels like im writing pri sch descriptive compo).
only sad thing is im watching w 2 guys. haha. dex was saying if only we had brought some female fwends along. how true. haha. to think i was telling khailin abt it in the evening.. guess its a different experience if one is viewing fireworks with pple of the opposite gender. =P heh. we joked abt how many guys at esplanade would kneel before their partners when the fireworks ends. haha. guess its not a bad idea to propose in front of the fireworks eh? haha.
well, after the last sparkle diminished into the dark sky, reality sinks in. and reality is that ive been posted to 3 sig bn at jurong camp. 3sig is supporting the 3rd div, and according to wad i heard, its supposed to be pretty slack. just that its a stay in vocation. shrugs. guess i'd have to make use of my time to do smth wisely. learning driving, read more books and learning a new language is wad i can think of now. shall work upon it. oh and hopefully mdc fulfill its promise of letting me perform in dec!
