well, 3 days outside camp certainly passes much much faster than 3 days in camp i must say. did quite a bit of stuff, both good and bad.
friday night and subsequently sat morning was spent on jamming and band matters. its really a complicated thing. i had no idea of wadeva the outcome, but i just hope to jam more to improve. simple as that. did get to jam on sat morning, although i had to admit it was a bad one. gg to studio unprepared probably means a waste of time. somemore jamming with 3 zai pple adds to the pressure. i really wonder how they can prepare in such short time. anw i felt i was lagging behind. that feeling wasnt comforting. haix.
sat evening was spent w 69 cos renie's leaving. always good to be seeing the class n the turnout was pretty good as well. just a pity that the place wasnt really conducive for catching up. think i only end up tokin to the pple nearer to me. din really get to tok to pple like jonny or qianyi. oh managed to catch concave scream live. this local band's been ard the scene for abt 10 yrs i think, and they really wowed me as to the quality of local bands. so pls do support local band music! and im not referring to
mi lu bing wadso ever. =p
sunday morning was the army marathon. had to wake up early in the morning. but thankfully it ended pretty early as well. saw qt a few old friends there.
today. went back to visit teachers at hc with marc. im always excited to be going back to hc i really dunno why. =p managed to chat with mrs lucy lee, mrs tham and mr ong. mrs lee is really a very nice teacher. now i regretted not listening more in her classes. its certainly more entertaining than the csm. mrs tham also gave me some food for thought as to taking which double degrees, so i guess i shall reconsider carefully. hmm. hwachong did change a lil. the classbenches in the inner plaza for eg, but the feeling is still there. =) cant wait for maf.
after that we rushed down to meet jialing for a tour at smu. i say we rush down cos marc woke up late and we reached hc at 1130 instead of the planned 10. =p tsktsk. anw so i looked every bit like a freshmen in college. haha according to those pple we met in smu, which i realised the various schools were wonderfully linked by an underground path. pretty cool. and there is this california fitness centre like gym where yu can see many "health-conscious" pple trying to shed off excess lipids. =p
all in all, we all agreed schooling is definitely a better way to serve the nation isnt it? haha.
