phew. two weeks of parade finally ended. its a tiring process man. preparing almost everyday for 2 major parades for the signals formation. worse still, the 2 parades basically involves the same drills. can yu imagine how bored it is not. grrr. and the stupid thing is, the first parade involves the commander of SI stepping down, and the second parade is the same guy taking up the chief signal officer post. mebbe it would be wiser to combine 2 parades into 1 and make it a super grand one? [note: i used super cos the parade was already very grand despite the fact that its just a simple one. they even brought in a mammoth tanker and other big vehicles into the parade sq just for show.]
thankfully the rehearsals paid off and OC was very satisfied w our performance. the current and ex chief signal officers both seemed to be nice pple from the way the 2 of em interacted w us. so hopefully my stay as a signaller would be better cos of them.
the OCTs would be coming in next wk i heard. those who were deemed the cream of the crop. haha. but looking at the way the latest commissioned officers performed during the parade rehearsals.. hmmm. anw hope to see some familiar faces. till now i know only matt is coming. hah.
