all this hype abt getting scholarships in the midst of prelims preps has really got me thinking about my future. totally clueless about wad lies ahead of me, other than ns of cos, i had absolutely no idea of the importance of scholarship talks and the like until recently. with so many pple hoping to get a scholarship for overseas studies, it certainly influenced my decision as to where and what i'd like to study a few yrs later. england would seem a better choice than us to me. at least there is football, not american football. and there is no need to take SATs. however it dawned upon me questions like whether or not i would be able to adapt to life there, if i managed to go that is. and i started to feel that mebbe studying locally may not be a bad option afterall. at least i wouldnt feel lost, at least i get to see fireworks every august, at least i can speak singlish at ease... most imptly, at least im at home. i guess it would be a tough decision at the end of the day. was hoping to concentrate on prelims first, but heard that we have to apply for the scholarships soon. so probably should go to
