ytd was the syf presentation concert. my last public concert! haha unless i join some outside group. anw i was quite pleased with the performance itself. though it was not of superb quality, i felt that to be able to rush out da gui in such short time is qt a feat alr. if only julian had stayed on, ytd would have been breathtaking im sure. the new improved version of mengdie is super touching with the 2 solos. aww. dagui had the good atmosphere there, though there were some mistakes here and there, but unmistakably, i think we did well! =) din manage to do the throwing luo stunt on stage though, but hopefully during hc arts fest we can perform it. it shall be zai! haha. took qt some photos too, hope it will serve as fond memories =) oh yeah thanx to the juniors who gave me and naifen the notebook too. yeah i think letters are much nicer than gifts =) at least it came deeper from the heart =D. thanx jona, yingm, swin and lc. i shall do a shout-out to yu guys too.
jona: haha as leader yu must learn to look after the other 3. that im confident of yu doing so. den make sure they follow yu during practices and stuff. haha though sometimes i also dun listen to yu, its impt so tt everything can carry on smoothly. daji is all abt teamwork, not individuals. den be dun keep sayin dirty stuff like naifen. esp in front of tchrs! later they think daji is se4, though we are lar. haha. skills wise i know yu can handle them well. teach me drumset! haha. oh do organise more daji outings so the seniors can go too. ^^
ying: hmm skills wise still can improve i think. though i dunno where exactly. oh den yu guys can try to help swin improve his basics. being the only girl (eh something sounds wrong there), help the guys be more tidy n organise. esp with their scores. if not end up losing scores like me den v mafan le. oh yeah be more manly! haha. den try to lure some girls into perc next yr, must have a fine mix den can complement the guys like complement goods. hah.
swin: hmm yu are much luckier than me cos yu joined w musical background. i came with nothing, so its a tougher path. anw ya good at mallets, no denying that, but ya basics must get it right. cos daji is abt rhythm too. get the other 3 to improve ya ji ben gong, den learn to blend in w the orchestra. like breathing w the conductor and stuff. work hard and next yr's concert yu can win the hearts of many female audiences, just like how naifen did last yr. ^^
lc: eh ya rhythm and bi ben gong mei wen ti. yu and jona used to be on par with one another, den give us headache as to who be the leader for chs daji. but think like me, yu need to work on ya musicality (like how xiao qiang put it), learn instrus like xylo, yunluo, timp, etc. that will make yu a better percussionist.
hmm thats all for now. i have confidence in next yr's daji. =)
