hmm.. was on jz's car on the way to tuition today. den dunno how the topic switched from TT Durai and his gold plated tap to whether the first 3 months were the most memorable. den recollections started flooding it on the short journey from sch to novena. started toking about stuff that we did and stuff we did not, as well as pple who left us a deep impression during that time. my deepest impression during that time would be stuff like the stayover at zsing's hse, making smoothies at zhan's hse n stuff. den regret not taking enuff photos. seems like our 1st 3 mths like not so united, den we are like making up for our j1 life now. haha, we take photos like crazy and organise outings n chalets whenever we can. well 2 years is really a short period. and we are like 3 quarters through it alr. and the daunting As is looming, but we dun seem to have enjoyed enuff. =(
den was on my way bak from tuition just now. decided to take a walk around holland v on my way home to help wenqing find her cake heaven shop. realised that this very place that i grew up from actually changed a lot throughout the years. i finally found out where nydc lies after pple keep telling me holland v got nydc and i keep saying "you meh?" also spotted the wala wala pub that marc mentioned. this village really changed alot, and the nightlife is still as vibrant. soon the circle line will be set up and it will really be bustling with life. sometimes i felt that amidst the hectic life that we are living in, we should really take a step back and appreciate things around us. pause for a moment, take a look around us, and realise that the world is actually very beautiful.
