chalet ended today =( which means sch will start tmr. haix. wonderful times are short. anw the attendance this time was rather poor, hopefully next time will be better! hah, super tired now. 'today' slept for 1.5 hr, the day before 3. shall sleep early tonight.
anw this time round the chalet is much organised and comfortable. its at aranda, which i believed is one of the better chalets in spore. its spacious, w good faclities and air-con. comparable to hotel sia. anw so first day only have pms, jonny, eugene and g5 minus pearlyn. went lide hse in the morning den play bball, before spending like 4 hrs trying to find a spot to dota. seems like every lan shop is filled w pple. probably cos its youth day. oh celine went w us too. went guan's hse den travel to pasir ris. afternoon din do much, xc play dota and watching the jnrs play pool. den we went to makan n did some groceries shopping at white sands. accidentally hit this malay woman w the trolley, den she keep staring at me and giving me the "wad the f*ck do yu think yu are doing, yu @55hole!" look despite me apologising thrice. haix. the place is crowded wad.
den at night we went to pasir ris park. never went there b4. its not bad. eugene played on the swing, den we went to torture ourselves by playing stuff which makes us gong gong. dunno wad its called. looks innocent but after yu play yu see the surroundings twirling. den there is the maze which i almost forgot. full of spiderwebs. think only we are stupid enough to do that maze. finally there is the artificial spider web. its really fun and scary as one goes higher cos it gets smaller towards the top. but i managed to climb up, so was qt an achievement. =] after returning to the chalet, i tot i would sleep at ard 3. but dunno why we started playing murderer, and the juniors came to play also. so end up sleeping at 5 plus.
second day. went sch in the morning for rehearsal. den went to the jnr class chalet which was nearby (actually its qt far if yu are walking), den played bluff w shenying n shimin while waiting for the class ppl to rent bike. den went for a dip, but not for long. after which was our steamboat dinner. was really good i must say. at least i feel full. the food is not bad. bumin can make a good house husband lor. any takers? lolx.
at midnite, we set off for night cycling! lil did we know the much anticipated activity would end up the way it did. went to katong w the jnrs to eat supper. think we took our own sweet time or smth, den end up we took like 2.5 hr before we reach there lar. finish eating at abt 340 i rmb. the jnrs decided to head for changi village. us, however, made a bold attempt to go to esplanade, cos we din manage to take photos the other time we went there. went past national stadium, dunman high sch (where we took photos cos we had nth better to do), den eventually reach esplanade at 440 liddat.
oooohhh side track abit. almost forgot. we pranked bumin for his bday. qianyi pretend her bike was down den request her help while we prepare to set up a small bday celebration. huishan almost gave the game away. so we stood outside century sq and sang bday song, took blur photos and stuff. think it would be rather memorable for bum.
ok as i was saying, so we took photos at esplanade, den head back, hoping that we could return b4 sunrise. we took the east coast park route, den head towards bedok interchange so tt we can follow the mrt track back. by the time we reach bedok, my whole butt was cramping from cheek to cheek. den the cheekbone was super painful too. not to forget the handlebar for the bike is super spiky, leaving red marks on our hands. seriously unable to take it le. but no choice had to endure. den yu see everyone getting more and more tired, the speed became slower and incidents like huishan's slippers getting ripped off occurred frequently. there was one occasion where i rode way off the pavement up the steep grass patch beside it. if i had rode the other way, i would have ended up lying in the middle of the road. hmm took quite long before we reached our startin pt at 7.37 am. night cycling became day cycling le. a total of 7 hrs on the bike. we must be really mesochistic to torture ourselves liddat. good thing is tt this time not no one injured or smth lar. only got minor falls. so everyone is safe and sound. =)
this marks the end of chalet 2. cant wait for photos.
hmm den tmr is the syf showcase. my final public concert in my 5 yrs of percussion. hope it will turn out well. will miss my juniors when i leave co.
