tmr's the last day of age group le. after this, i may not be playing competitive bowling le. at least in the next few years to come. anw this 2 yrs have been a great learning experience for me in the sport and hopefully it will end beautifully tmr, not like my last game during nats.
anw today several events happened during age group.
first, there was this guy from acsi 2 lanes from us who injured himself during the comp. din witness the actual situation first hand but it was rather serious i think. blood was dripping down the lane and he had to be send to hospital for treatment. =X this spinner slipped his ball during his back swing. as his back swing was super high, it slipped and fell, scratching the sides of his brows. luckily for him, it did not hit his head or eyes, if not the consequences would be more serious. after wad happened, everyone became esp cautious with his backswing. andrew significantly reduced his swing. was quite funny when tokin abt it, but it does pay to be careful. lesson learnt: yu dun need to swing high to be a pro. lolx.
hmm den today was quite a good day too. everyone at least had a high game, timmo n andrew hit an avg of 203 (but dunno if its enuff to get a medal), and we had a 800 series for the last game. i also managed to close all frames in my second game. so was qt happy. the atmosphere was good once again, tho we are bowling w pros, but they are fwendly peeps. =]
