today was shrouded by disappointment as hwachong lost its second major competition in a short span or three days. on wed, the x country team did not perform as expected, slipping to overall 4th for boys i heard. den today in the much-anticipated polo finals, hwachong lost to arch rivals ac by 3 goals. guess the polo team must be very upset, but think they did their best le. mebbe theres some fault in the tactic, allowing ac to attack with ease. ac was much aggressive after a nervy start. but their defence was good. hwachong was quite unlucky in the sense that we hit the post like 7 times while ac only struck once. imagine wad will happen if those shots were converted. but nevertheless sometimes luck just plays yu out. =X den i think our cheering was super sucky also. absolutely no noise or wadsoever. as they sent arts n s3 to support, they seriously cmi lor. some of them merely clapped along n not chanted. while pple like yongkai simply just shouted n screamed for the team. thats the kinda of hwachong spirit we should have. n no offence but the council just cant stir the crowd on to support those fighting in the pool. wrong cheers at the wrong time will only tend to distract the competitors. haix. hopefully hc can start to own in areas which they are best at. at least salvage some lost pride and probably lift up the hwachong spirit soon.
den pw results is released today too. got a 2. not that bad lar. only a few pple got 1. but think my OP is not good. must try to improve my articulation and the proper way of making a speech. haha.
den my sis just got gold for syf band this evening with crescent. felt quite happy for her. first competition for her lor. meanwhile i think our preparations for syf is getting better le. but i think i must pract more on my own. improve my part cos i still not satisfied with some parts yet. haha but it does sound promising. gold with honours! haha hopefully. surely a goal that we are all working towards.
bowling. was tokin to yongjun about our chances today. he said we can get 3rd for boys team if we can beat rj. hmm its not impossible but that can only be achieved if our first team perform to expectations. but with pple like tim keep missing trg, its really quite hard leh. will be glad with a 4th lor. haha andrew def no prob lar. but he needs to be supported by tim n others wad. we shall see. next week friendly against nj! haha anticipation...
