hmm been busy practicing for syf these few days. tired but the days were fruitful. it was good to see everyone working hard to achieve a common goal, which is the gold w honours. percussion improved quite a bit every practice and i am quite pleased with the way our section progressed. after hearing the recording last wk, i had several discussions with other section's pple to see how we could improve. during ytd's practice, the conductor was very pleased with the amendments we made, especially the way we merge with the orchestra and such. was even more happy with the comments which eugene n wenjie told me. eugene said we really did a good job and was well balanced w the orchestra, while wenjie said our taifeng was good and made him wanna stand up and move along.. was seriously quite touched by such words. at least our efforts put in din go down the drain... but ytd's recording shows signs where we still can improve on. worked on some today, so hopefully it will be better tmr. but tmr got fwendly, cant go for co. touch decision to make i admit, but team selection is equally crucial.. haix. anw on a lighter note, i have a feeling im reaching my old form le. the post sec 4 times where i had better control over the timp. hopefully it comes on the right time. practice more! haha.
but today during pract like suddenly got this deja vu feeling sia. think i dreamt of the scene before, but the ending wasnt a really pleasant one. let's hope its not true! anw the fate lies in our own hands.
