argh. today is really shitty, much worse than i've expected. i think pa did a real bad job with the equipments that they are using as well as the coordination of the various sounds outputs with the amps. firstly and most imptly, they borrowed a seemingly new drumset from dunno where whereby the bass pedal is seriously spoilt. not onlyis it loose and it wobbles on its own, it also have a tendency to move on its own. in addition, sometimes it cant even produce a beat when stepped upon. not forgetting that the bass drum is so hollow it sounded like a tom. mebbe i shd really use floor tom to sub it. =( during boulevard, the pedal came off halfway through the song and its really hard to get them back in place. the same thing happened for tears. i know i may not be a zai drummer but since we paid to participate we shd be given good or at least workable equipments wad. im sure those whose used the drumset today had the same sentiments. next their working with the mics and stuff showed that pa is not really up to standard yet. the volume of the amps n mics caused the music to completely overshadow the vocals, which is not what we wanted. i can distinctly hear renie's violin for instance. haix. guess theres nothing much we can do now but to await the results. sheesh. i hate this feeling.
