69 chalet ~ 16th to 18th nov!

well i guess the chalet was still quite alright. personally i felt that it was a lil boring cos for around 90% of the time we were simply camping inside the bungalow, only went out once to da beach to take a lil stroll. the rest of the time is spent on PS anf MAHJUNG! we did cycle abit here n there, a lil bball n cards though. but i felt it certainly achieved the purpose of bonding the class together... if that was one of the purpose though. haha. the attendence wasnt really good though, but im sure those present felt it. through the cooking of meals which everyone participated in one way or another, or mebbe most participated, it was really a good experience i supposed. but one thing i learnt during the chalet was definitely MAHJUNG... haha though most pple are not that pro, mainly beginners like me, but i think we picked up the game quite fun and now i know some of the combi(s) le.. haha. and i understood what tongxiao majiang is all about! i managed to break my record of sleeping at 530 on the first night even.. hehex. man zu gan.lets see wad else i can recall. hah paiseh that this entry is quite messy cos i just wrote what i rmb. bike ride! haha we wanted to go all the way to geylang for supper on the second day but it was late so we din go. but we manage to rode along the roads to changi village. haha riding bike gives me a really carefree feeling, with the wind caressing ya face n hair. hmmmmm. the smell of burnt rubber is pretty cool too. think the furthest we went was to the end of changi beach. hopefully next time we can explore further out. as a class =). during the ride we saw some ah guas at changi village. quite easy to spot leh actually. 'women' who dress revealing but looks somewhat abnormal(eg broad chest).. haha. wad else wad else. hmm i think i enjoyed da bbq on the second night, cos it was effort put in, thus the fruits of labour were especially delicious. haha. early tuesday morning had to go lide house to help marinate the bbq stuff w lide n qianyi. haha though i later realised i shdnt be so bright early in the morning. eh also helped to defroze the food in the evening. haha its a learning process too. lide's mum's recipe is good =) guan n jonnie did a good job starting the fire too, which was probably the most diff part. den bum n mj helped chopped the chicken wings n stingray, renie n qianyi help cut the prawns. haha ooh den got naiyoumei (butter girl aka ethel) and lajiaojie (spice girl aka pearlyn) who helped spread the sauce. nice cooperation work eh. lurve da stingray, prawns, bacon, taiwan sausages and CHOCOLATE BANANAS. haha only eat a lil marshmallow n choc banana tho, such a pity. hmm back to mahjung! haha think its somewhat become an addiction le lar. the table can be occupied from day till night, and some pple can even occupy that seat from day till night too. hehex. den the cleaner this morning also misheard that we were from MahJung Junior College! haha welcome to the MahJung farmily!hmm then we played midnite bball! think those who walked past the court must have tot we are siao. there was no light and we merely shot with our feeling. damn seh leh. lide n i won guan yonghui n cliff 12-9 after some intense competition...ahh seriously cant think of anything else to write le. but think should thank some pple for making this chalet a success. lide's mum for preparing the bbq food, ethel's mum for helping us get the bungalow.. thanx aunties! den ethel for organising and preparing for this.. and pms for being pms! haha thats lame i know. too bad marcus not there. he is too busy with team singapore le =( next yr we must have another chalet! and hope everyone would be present!
