many things happened during this short span of 3 days.
1) almost everyone seemed to have caught the olympics fever. even the usually un"sport"-ing eugene is talking about it. team spore not doing really well this time around. ronald susilo, though won world no.1 lin dan in round 1 was just defeated by some thai in the quarters. guess many sporeans would be disappointed by this defeat. now our only medal hopes lies in li jia wei n zhang xue li who are both in the table tennis singles quarters.
not to mention the much anticipated 200m freestlye men. an evenly contested match between michael phelps, ian thorpe and defending champion petier van der hoogenband. thorpe managed to snatch back his title from hoogenband in olympic record time.
2) practiced longteng on monday! haha the idea on playing longteng just excites me. even though its just for maf. haha everytime perform longteng also play diff instru, actually quite fun leh. for chuida pple, longteng seems to be the bai ting bu yan song. got impact, is lively and is really very addictive! haha but those co pple in my class thot it sucks. hmm obviously these pple have diff taste. anw play longteng is simply very shuang. though everytime play sure got blisters, but who cares? haha.
3) ytd had a last min class outing to holland v swensons for topless 5. as quite a few pple are rushing to head back to sch by 5 ( despite us leaving school around 415), we decided to take a shorter route. so took 151 to stop at the bringe of 6th ave. while waiting to cross the road, guanhow said,"hey nel, 970 leh!" den i was like "omg. damn it." thinking that we would never catch the bus as the bus stop is quite a distance from the traffic light. so we watch the bud drove past before the green light flashed. den all of a sudden, huishan shouted, "run!" then huishan started running, following closely is lide and marcus. the rest were quite stunned but simply followed. so u see 15 pple in brown uni running in one straight line to catch a bus. suddenly, i saw the unity of 69 last seen during HCHC. a unity due to the common desire for ice cream. haha. still think that the idea of 15 pple runninf 100m to catch a bus is cool. haha. btw my class is addicted to topless 5. haha.
