just returned from town. had an busy tired but enjoyable week. the last three days were spent at desperate last minute rehearsals for the mega concert our people our music, with each rehearsals ending late at night. there was constant pressure to play well especially since some of us were like sight-reading the scores. anyway was quite glad that everything ended smoothly ytd, though i was not at 100% i felt i at least accomplished 75%. the audience were full of praise for it though, and think many schoolmates saw me on news ytd. cant wait to see the actual broadcast of the concert on 15 n 22 aug respectively.
as for today, we had the much anticipated home-coming carnival which saw many seniors n fwends came to visit. pleased to say that the haunted house was a resounding success, earning as much as 3k on one day. days of hard work which saw preparations being made as early as one month ago paid off. although some may think that it is not very scary, i think thats everyone's personal opinion. am proud of the good work 69 n 6B put up...
den just saw the news on our 30th anniversary grand dinner and abt the merger. was really sad that after the merger the name would be altered. personally i was very glad abt the new name lar. its like neither here nor there, and its so much like the raffles family. sigh. would rather it be hwa chong college (hwa qiao xue yuan).. but since its decided i also have nothing to say. =x
